Gujarat cops kill sacked Jet Airways pilots in an alleged fake encounter

Ahmedabad: Gujarat Police today gunned down the two Jet Airway employees who were sacked by Jet Management for forming a union claiming they were undercover Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists who were under a secret mission to destabilize the country. At around 7:15 PM, a party of Gujarat cops surrounded a car in which the pilots were travelling and told them to surrender. When the pilots tried to flee the scene, they were shot down by the cops.

Gujarat Police spokesman said their suspicions arose when they heard Jet Airways chairman Naresh Goel complain that striking Jet Airways pilots were behaving like terrorists holding the country, passengers and airline hostage. "We suspected that the two pilots who were responsible for inciting all other pilots could have been part of an international conspiracy involving Pakistan, China and LeT. When we checked the record of these two pilots we discovered they had flown to countries like Oman, Qatar, UAE and even Saudi Arabia. At the Jeddah Airport, the two were seen sharing a cup of coffee with two Arab men and two Chinese men. We have reasons to believe that the Arab & Chinese men were LeT operatives and Chinese spies. According to the information we have received these two pilots were bribed by them to destabilize India by reintroducing unionism in India."

According to the Gujarat Police, Chinese government having realized that communism is worst of all economic models switched to market economy. In order to scuttle India's fast economic growth they have for long been funding communist parties in India. But after the recent poor performance of communist parties in Lok Sabha elections, they were worried about the dwindling influence of communism in India and so planned to introduce it through backdoor by encouraging trade unionism in the corporate sector.

Ahmadabad Police Commissioner, O.P. Chathur said, "Since airline sector is going through a lean patch and Jet Airways in particular is one of the worst effected airlines, pilots from the airline were natural target of their evil plan. Another reason for targeting pilots was because they belong to the upper strata of Indian society. Chinese Government knows that unionism by blue-collar workers would not receive any sympathy from either the government or the media and would be heavily clamped down upon. But since pilots belong to the higher educated classes, there were more chances that they would receive sympathy from the opinion makers of Indian society and trade unionism will  once again become acceptable in India"

But the claim of Gujarat cops that the pilots were operatives of LeT and Chinese intelligence agencies has met with opposition from the family members of the two pilots who have accused Gujarat cops of staging a fake encounter. The father of one of the pilots who was killed in the encounter said that his son flew to Saudi Arabia as part of his official flying duties. "My son was not a terrorist. Though he was very brave, he was a gentle soul afraid of even cockroaches. He loved India as much as anyone else and his decision to form a union was taken to protect the interests of all pilots of Jet Airways. I also vehemently deny that my son was a communist or had any inclination towards socialism or communism. Despite trying to form a union, he was a firm believer in market economy and also the hire-and-fire model. Of course, he believed that pilots should be exempt from being fired because of the high amount of risk in their jobs and his decision to form a union was formed out of this belief. Please don't tarnish the reputation of my slained son by calling him a Communist" 

Meanwhile rumors are flying thick and fast. According to some unconfirmed reports that we have received, the reason for gunning down the two pilots was very flimsy. Our sources have reported that Gujarat cops killed the pilots in order to curry favor with Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi who was greatly inconvenienced by pilots strike. An angry Modi who couldn't travel to Vadodara on time due to cancellation of a Jet Airways flight was reported to have screamed to his security men that the bloody pilots who were responsible for the strike should be shot to death. The news of his outburst reached the ears of Ahmedabad Police chief who then devised the plan to kill the two pilots in a fake encounter.
